The GreenInvest: IN4SFS Brokerage Event Türkiye successfully brought together startups, investors, and innovation stakeholders from across Europe on 26–27 March 2026 in İzmir, Türkiye, creating new opportunities for collaboration, investment, and sustainable growth.

Organised within the framework of the Horizon Europe-funded IN4SFS project and hosted by EGE Teknopark, the two-day hybrid event combined expert panels, startup pitching sessions, investor spotlights, networking activities, and structured B2B matchmaking meetings focused on green and sustainable technologies.

The event aimed to strengthen cross-border investment opportunities between emerging innovation ecosystems and more mature European markets, while helping startups gain visibility, improve investment readiness, and connect directly with investors and ecosystem actors.

A total of 133 participants joined the event across two days, including startups, venture capital representatives, angel investors, innovation intermediaries, universities, and sustainability experts. Sixteen startups participated in the pitching sessions, while 25 structured B2B meetings were organised between startups and investors.

The programme addressed key topics such as green finance, ESG trends, cross-border funding mechanisms, climate innovation, and sustainable investment opportunities. International experts and investors shared insights on the future of green entrepreneurship and the importance of ecosystem collaboration in accelerating Europe’s sustainability transition.

Among the startups participating in the event was Circudata, a Türkiye-based AI-powered Digital Product Passport platform helping manufacturers comply with upcoming EU sustainability regulations. Through the GreenInvest Brokerage Event, Circudata connected directly with European investors and strengthened its strategy for entering the wider European market.

According to founder Atakan Özdin, the event helped the company refine its investment narrative and better position itself ahead of the EU’s 2027 Digital Product Passport requirements. “The GreenInvest event in İzmir gave us direct, structured access to EU investors who understand the urgency of the 2027 regulatory window,” he explained.

The event also supported startups from Romania and Greece, reinforcing the IN4SFS objective of building stronger cross-border innovation and investment ecosystems across Europe. Participating startups represented sectors including biotechnology, circular economy, carbon management, renewable energy, sustainable manufacturing, and digital sustainability solutions.

By combining knowledge exchange with direct investor matchmaking, GreenInvest Türkiye demonstrated the importance of collaborative European innovation ecosystems in supporting sustainable entrepreneurship and accelerating green technologies. The event further strengthened the IN4SFS mission of connecting startups with international opportunities, investors, and long-term growth pathways.
